OKAY here’s my dilemma.
I bought a ticket to see Eddie Vedder on May 14th in Ft. Lauderdale, but he hurt his arm and rescheduled to December 1st. I go to college in North Carolina starting in August so I won’t be living in Ft. Lauderdale. I come home for Thanksgiving break November 21st to the 25th, only five freaking days away from the concert. I don’t think I can go up to NC from break on the 25th and fly back down five days later, partially because plane tickets are expensive, but also because I have finals to study for when I get back from that break.
BUT! He has two shows in Jacksonville (farther north of Ft. Lauderdale) on the 24th and 25th, dates which I will be home in Ft. Lauderdale. I could sell the ticket I have and buy one for that show instead and just drive up to Jacksonville while I’m already down in Ft. Lauderdale, rather than having to buy a whole other plane ticket. Thanksgiving is the 22nd so I wouldn’t be missing family time… THOUGHTS?? Does this plan sound possible? I’m gonna discuss it with my mother and maybe, just MAYBE, things will work out.
